Day 1 :Delhi
Arrive Delhi a nd Transfer to the hotel for 3 nights
Day 2 : Delhi
Morning at leisure Afternoon half day city tour of New Delhi.to
include
Qutab Minar,
Humayun's Tomb,
India Gate,
President house and other government buildings. Optional tours in
the evening can be arranged for sound and light show at the Red
Fort. or local dance show.
Day 3 : Delhi
Morning City tour of Old Delhi to inlclide
Red Fort ,Jama
Masjid and Birla Temple.
Day 4 : Rishikesh
Continue by road to Rishikesh for 3 nights Transfer to hotel.
Day 5 : Rishikesh
Morning activities shall include rafting down the ganges Early
evening be at Haridwar to witness "Aarti" on the banks of the
Ganges.
Day 6 :
Rishikesh
Morning activities shall include further rafting experience
.Afternoon Sightseeing in Rishikesh.
Day 7 : Shivpuri
Drive to Shivpuri for a overnight at the beach camp. Fourteen kms
ahead of the holy city of Rishikesh. Swimming,birdwatching ,nature
walks and beac h volleyball are at disposal for your evening today.
Day 8 : Singthali
Morning drive to Singthali the road head to the Trek.From here trek
to Mahadev Chatti in approx 2 hours. It is a steep 20 minutes climb
after crossing the river Ganga which gradually flattens to a wide
path. Camp at a river beach at Mahadev Chatti. Packed lunch will be
provided en-routeDinner and overnight in trekking tents.
Day
9 : Vyasghat
Morning trek to Vyasghat (12 kms/5-6 hours) . En-route visit some
ethnic Garhwali villages. The path is wide and gradual again untill
Vyasghat, a popular spot for fishing in this region. Camp at the
river beach. Packed lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight in trekking
tents.
Day 10 : Devprayag
This day trek to Devprayag (12 kms/5 hrs) with packed lunch.
Devprayag is situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda and
Bhagirathi rivers. Commonly believed to be the birthplace of the
Ganga and an important place for pilgriims. Overnight in tents at
Devprayag (B,L,D)
Day 11 : Mussorie
Morning drive to Mussorie (distance 140kms, approx 5½ hours driving)
reaching in time for Lunch. Afternoon short sightseeing of Mussorie
including Sir George Everest. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Delhi
Return by road to Delhi (approximately 5 hours) and transfer to the
hotel.
Day 13 : Back home
Transfer to airport for flight back home.
